With extensive experience in both software development and coworking.  Jacob is uniquely positioned to research and evaluate technology solutions for Floorspace.  Along with the founding team, he plays a key role in shaping the company’s innovation strategy.

Jacob’s responsibilities also include overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the company’s technology infrastructure, ensuring that it is secure, reliable, and scalable. He is responsible for managing the technical aspects of the company, including software and hardware systems, network infrastructure, and data security measures.

Jacob has over 20 years of experience and a history of innovative ideas, well executed projects, and management of diverse teams. In 2007, Jacob recognized the growing trend of independent and remote workers and opened Office Nomads, the first coworking space in Seattle, WA. To support this business and others like it, Jacob wrote Nadine, the first open source coworking platform, and founded Open Coworking, a non-profit dedicated to the Coworking Movement.
